Turning 20! Celebrating Blue Frontier’s biggest milestone to date with a ‘Year of 20s’ campaign

2025 signifies a huge milestone for Blue Frontier, as we celebrate 20 incredible years! What started as small, local business back in 2005 has grown into one of the UK’s most comprehensive digital agencies, offering everything from digital marketing and development to design and IT support. In this time, we’ve built a fantastic team of over 100 talented people, expanded to three office locations across the South of England (with a new London office on the way!), and worked with amazing clients in every sector to create work we’re truly proud of.

But this anniversary isn’t just about looking back—it’s about giving back. To mark 20 years, we’re launching a special campaign that looks back at everything we’ve achieved in 20 years, whilst pushing for new growth at both a business and wider industry level. This campaign also aims to support important causes outside of Blue Frontier, by giving back to our local communities and empowering the next up-and-comers in digital talent.

Announcing our ‘Year of 20s’

Our 20th year will be different to every other year that Blue Frontier has been in operation, as it will be hallmarked by a set of ambitious initiatives designed to push the boundaries on what we have ever achieved before.

Our ‘Year of 20s’ campaign is made up of 10 impactful initiatives, each with a benchmark of 20 goals, that will drive progress, innovation, and development in multiple ways, big and small.

Our Year of 20s campaign initiatives are:

1. Shining a light on 20 team members

Throughout the year, Blue Frontier team members will have the opportunity to nominate colleagues who they feel deserve a little extra recognition, whether it’s someone who’s been a huge help on a complex project, or who kindly makes them a cup of tea every morning. 

2. Giving back to 20 charitable or community causes

The communities that surround our office locations of Salisbury, Southampton, and Bristol are hugely important to us, which is why in 2025 we’re committing to giving back to more local charities and community causes through donation drives, fundraising events, and more. 

3. Supporting young talent with 20 days of work placements

We’re also committed to supporting young talent on the journey towards their future digital careers. To help them get on the front foot before hitting the professional workplace, we’ll be offering 20 days of work placements for 18–25-year-olds looking to get some first-hand experience in a leading digital agency. 

4. Initiating 20 new R&D projects

Our industry is moving forward at lightening speed, and at Blue Frontier we don’t just want to keep up; we want to contribute to the innovation of new solutions, processes, and technologies. As part of our 20-year celebrations we’ll be initiating 20 areas of R&D that will help both our business and our industry reach new, unchartered, heights. 

5. Welcoming 20 visitors to our new London office

To celebrate the opening of our brand-new London office, we’ll be welcoming 20 visitors to meet with our team members in the UK’s capital. These visitors will include both new and long-term clients, as well as colleagues, partners, and other digital professionals. 

6. Publishing 20 thought leadership pieces and unique data insights

As well as contributing to the growth of our industry through R&D, we also want to do our part for sharing knowledge amongst digital professionals in 2025. We’ll be going beyond commenting on and sharing what others have found, to do our own research and release brand new unique data findings into the world for everyone to learn from. 

7. Entering or attending 20 awards and events

We’ve worked on a lot of projects over the last 20 years, and we’re extremely proud of everything we’ve achieved. To help recognise our team members’ successes, and to give us more opportunities to network with other professionals in our industry, we’re planning to apply for more awards and attend more events in 2025. 

8. Airing 20 new Blue Frontier podcast episodes

For several years our team have spoken about launching a Blue Frontier podcast, and 2025 is the year it’s going to happen! To help educate other professionals, young talent, and people with an interest in all things digital, we’ll be airing 20 insightful podcast episodes between now and the end of the year. 

9. Completing 20 training courses and upskilling workshops

As well as sharing our knowledge, we also want to increase the knowledge and skills we have in Blue Frontier by giving our team members more opportunities to do training courses and workshops. As part of this initiative, we’re giving our teams the chance to request training and upskill in new digital areas that they’ve not worked in before. 

10. Launching 20 new sustainability drives

And finally, we want to use this campaign to do more for the environment, by committing to launching 20 new sustainability efforts across our offices. We also hope that, by enhancing our R&D, technical skills, and service offerings in 2025, we will be able to improve the sustainability of our clients by delivering the digital business solutions they need.
