Earlier this year we announced the exciting news that we would be opening a second Blue Frontier office in Southampton! We have now officially settled into the new office, located in the White Building, which is just minutes from Southampton train station and Bedford Place.
The new 3200 sq foot space enables Blue Frontier the possibility of further growth; the White Building office can house up to 30 team members and enables us to welcome new opportunities such as recruiting more talented individuals and new business.
We celebrated the opening of the new office on Thursday 6th September with a ‘Champagne and Strawberries’ evening reception for the Blue Frontier team. We were able to show off our vibrant new office, and have the opportunity to relax and talk about our exciting new plans.
With significant growth at Blue Frontier over recent years, our headcount in the Head Office at Old Sarum has more than doubled and we are now a team of nearly 50! So earlier this year we started to consider a number of options for a second office. Southampton is a dynamic city, with great connections and growing business opportunities, so we knew this was the right place for Blue Frontier to expand into.
We instantly loved The White Building, which is an incredible property, with sweeping views of the city and an engaging atmosphere. We wanted to give our new office space on the 8th floor a Blue Frontier makeover before we moved in with the help of Westcountry Group’s designers.
The renovation took a total of 3 months and we think you’ll agree it looks amazing! The office space has a modern industrial look with exposed brick walls, metallic piping and Edison light bulbs hanging from the ceiling. The open layout and collaborative working pods help to inspire the flow of ideas and cross-team discussion. We have an interactive media wall and even a Marvel superhero-themed wall, that leads into a hidden office!
We are looking forward to showing both existing and potential clients around our new office and excited about the future possibilities that lay ahead of Blue Frontier.
