•Years• Working at BF 2+

Michelle has been with Blue Frontier since 2021. After finishing her Bachelor’s Degree in Computing at the University of Portsmouth, she worked as a Software Support Analyst and Associate Quality Engineer.

As an ISTQB certified tester, Michelle’s role involves writing and executing test cases in order to identify any faults or issues in the software, application or website, by carrying out different test methodologies such as functionality, accessibility or compatibility testing. One of her key responsibilities is to interact and coordinate with the development team, project managers and design team, ensuring that effective communication takes place.

Michelle is excellent at working collaboratively and makes sure that any issues raised by our clients are then resolved. With Michelle on our team, we can deliver the highest standard of API and Database testing.

There are so many opportunities to grow here and the ability to enhance my skills to perform my job effectively. Blue Frontier has a very supportive company culture which rewards employee efforts and ensures that employees know their work is meaningful. Everyone has been very helpful and welcoming from the day I started working here.

As a Test Analyst, I take ownership of any testing allocated to me from small projects to complicated large projects, and I ensure that I understand the scope of the project under test to identify any flaws in the system, before delivering the product to the customer.

I would love to work on an AR/VR project which could help people with learning disabilities. Having previously worked in the care industry for several years, it would be such a rewarding experience to be part of a project that benefits the lives of people with disabilities.

Outside of work I enjoy watching American football, spending time with family and friends as well as travelling to different places and trying out new food delicacies.
