Meet Jordan
IT Engineer
Jordan joined Blue Frontier as an IT Engineer in 2023. He has 8 years of experience in the IT field with a range of skills from desktop support to medical device integration.
Jordan is interested in all things that Azure and Microsoft 365 bring to the table, with a knowledge of managing the environment, deployment and maintaining software versions. Jordan’s role consists of manning the phone to offer support with IT requirements such as new laptops, password resets, access requests, managing Microsoft 365 environments, and maintaining and patching customer servers.
Jordan is a hard-working individual who enjoys learning and developing his knowledge in order to provide support solutions.
My favourite thing about Blue Frontier is the friendly and positive environment. Where everyone is willing to jump in and lend a hand.
My role at Blue Frontier involves new laptop and user setup with bespoke requirements in line with security parameters. I manage access requests to software and files, whether that’s SharePoint or File Servers using AD and AAD groups. I also manage the Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring existing software is up to date or brand new purchases of software are implemented correctly. Alongside this I maintain and activate licences, which could include amending the amount or advising the customer on better suited licenses for their needs.
My dream project would be to implement a 365 Cloud environment to a customer from scratch.
Outside of work I enjoy learning and developing a knowledge of history, going for walks around New Forest and volunteering with the scouting association on hiking, camping and kayaking trips.
