Meet Gretchen
Account Manager

•Years• Working at BF 2+

Gretchen’s communication and relationship-building skills have always played a part in her career. From being a personal and executive assistant in Los Angeles to remote Tech Support, clear communication, problem-solving, and organisation are the pinnacle of importance for both the client and the company.

As an Account Manager, Gretchen continues practicing her skills to ensure the client gets the best experience possible. From smaller support requests to mini-projects, Gretchen familiarizes herself with any issues or objectives a client has brought forward. And her responsibility is to put forward a solution in a comprehensive way.

Gretchen knows the significance of building good relationships. Establishing the foundation of trust between the company and the client reflects in her commitment to resolving issues and giving the client updates along the way. Using skills such as organisation and being a self-starter, Gretchen has been a positive asset to Blue Frontier.

I love the people with whom I get to work on a variety of sites and applications, both Blue Frontier employees and clients alike. The fun part about working at Blue Frontier is the array of topics we get to explore thanks to our diverse range of client portfolios. I also enjoy exploring our different offices: Salisbury, Southampton, and Bristol.

Being an Account Manager requires attentiveness, organisation, patience, empathy, and strong communication skills. I enjoy working with people and helping them in any way I can, which is why I’m so passionate about delivering the best results to our clients. It is my responsibility to pick up any requests that come in from our clients and send the to the correct team at Blue Frontier to investigate and resolve it in a timely fashion if it’s something I don’t have the power to do myself.

My dream project would be creating a website and/or application to better people’s well-being. Perhaps, designing a gamification element to encourage people to continue on their journey to a better way of life. Alternatively, I love animals, especially dogs. So, if a project is required to design a website or application for pet-owners, I would love to be involved.

Outside of work, I teach vinyasa yoga in the New Forest. I’m also an avid musician and enjoy keeping myself company by learning new songs on the guitar and piano or writing my own. Traveling is a massive passion, as exploring new cultures and meeting new people from all walks of life is incredibly interesting to me and I think is a great way to expand our minds. Outdoor activities, such as hiking, kayaking, body-surfing in the ocean, and discovering new plants are all hobbies I enjoy when I’m not at my desk.
