Meet Dawid
Web Developer
After spending three years as part of a start-up developing cutting-edge sales platforms, Dawid joined Blue Frontier’s development department in 2023 looking for his next challenge. With his first-class degree in computing from the University of the West of England and his experience developing custom programmes for local governments, Dawid’s expertise is highly valued amongst our development team.
As a full-stack Web Developer, Dawid spends his day-to-day actively contributing to the development of robust and scalable web solutions. As a Laravel specialist (a form of PHP), Dawid focuses on delivering high-quality work, finding innovative solutions to complex problems, and contributing to the growth and support and of our development team in all things Laravel.
Dawid’s natural love of web development is what motivates him in his continuous crusade for excellence. No challenge is too big or too small as Dawid takes a great deal of pride in all his work, regardless of whether it’s a large scale project for a public sector client, or a small piece of support work for a start-up.
I find Blue Frontier an amazing place to learn and push the boundaries of my skills as a Web Developer. I love the variety of projects and exposure to different web technologies I receive on a day-to-day basis. I also love working within such a dynamic department.
As a Web Developer, I spend most of my time coding a variety of Laravel-based programmes and platforms, focusing primarily on backend development to meet our client’s requirements. I regularly collaborate with my fellow developers to ensure the successful delivery of a project, as well as my colleagues from other departments to provide estimates for development-related tasks.
My dream project would be to build a web application for a car manufacturer that showcases all their showroom models in a way that is visually stunning and user-friendly. This project would allow me to combine my two passions of web development and cars!
Outside of work, I love indulging in my passion for cars; I like to spend time tinkering with them, learning about their mechanics, and (sometimes) make visual modifications. I also enjoy dabbling in a bit of cocktail-making, trying out different flavours, techniques and presentations.
