It’s great to have a team of enthusiastic experts around me. When a thorny issue presents itself, there’s no shortage of people that are keen to work on the problem. The diverse skillset makes it easy to create a holistic solution for our customers, rather than just a technical one.

I often explain to people that my role involves acting as a translator between our engineers and our customers. Truthfully, my role is all about bringing together business and user needs into a solution that delivers value to our customers. My aim is to always identify goals and objectives and then work with the project team to meet those objectives.

My favourite projects are those that have grand visions but absolutely no idea where to start. You can see the enthusiasm and aspirations of the team, fuelled by innovation and creativity. When you’re embarking on a project like that, you know you're in for a journey filled with problem-solving and can share in that joy of shaping the unknown into a reality.

When the weather’s nice I love to be outdoors, usually rock climbing, kayaking or open-water swimming. But you’ll rarely see me happier than when I’m tearing apart some new part of my house, simply because I knew it would be a challenge to put it back together again.
