Meet Amy
Junior Web Developer
Amy joined Blue Frontier in 2021 working with both the Development and Support teams, primarily undertaking routine maintenance across our wide-ranging client portfolio. She also provides a supporting role in new project work and deals with support requests.
A background in accountancy and finance mean Amy has attention to detail and experience working closely with clients who have very specific technical requirements. She has a passion for numbers, data and patterns, and has found that working with code is endlessly fascinating, with something new to learn every day.
Working in accountancy has also taught Amy adherence to a raft of ever changing legislation and guidance, which is in line with the strict compliance standards Blue Frontier are proud to uphold.
It’s a cliché, but just how incredibly patient and accepting everyone is. I have never felt so at ease seeking support and guidance from both my peers and superiors, there is a real sense of camaraderie at Blue Frontier.
My role involves monitoring our ticketing systems and contract lists to keep on top of both routine and on-demand maintenance work. I also help out with project work with the development team and play a growing role in one of our larger support contracts.
Working on a website for a Final Fantasy release would be the stuff dreams are made of!
I love to dance Ceroc and West Coast Swing – and that it keeps me fairly fit without having to try too much! I’m also a big fan of fantasy fiction, JRPGs and massive open world games.
